Dear all,

We've started to gain momentum with the Cheshire Classic, which takes place on Sunday 22nd April. You may have seen coverage yesterday which celebrates getting our first sponsor on board, which in these climates and women's cycling in particular, is fantastic news for us. Cycling Weekly have been on and it is looking like they may run the story and Northwich Guardian have also been on wanting to get involved.

Thanks to our sponsor Epic Cycles, we have now been able to secure 3 NEG outriders and a fully trained paramedic to support Steve Thomas and the lead cars, which after last year's incident shows our commitment to the race.

There are a couple more things we would like to do and we are still looking for further sponsors. If your company, or if you know of anyone who, would like to support the race please get in touch. We have a good Twitter account https://twitter.com/cheshireclassic and our website http://www.cheshireclassicroadrace.co.uk/ is building momentum, the sponsor logo appears on the front page, a dedicated sponsors page and in the race programme.
