As you know I sell the club kit, and I am involved in our Cycling Safety campaign. The two are connected!
It has occurred to me that when we wear the club jersey on the road we represent the club as a whole. Our behaviour is reflected in the way the community see the club.
Thankfully, there have been no complaints about riders wearing the WVCC jersey. I think in fact, our club riders are very good at riding according to the highway code and showing consideration to other bike riders and road users.
At a time when our profile is growing and our campaign to make roads safer is gathering momentum, please be aware of the need to ride responsibly, and wear your jersey with pride! 😀
