Prizes and awards galore for 2014
A great evening was had by all at the dinner, and we were joined by members of the Short family (relatives of the late Alan Short), who gave us the Alan Short prize for Club Person of the Year – and for the first year, the deserved winner was Alan Silver.
As our honoured guest, prize presenter and speaker, John Herety joined us and told us some great and interesting stories. He also made an interesting point about the value of club cycling in honing rider skills on the bike, to compliment fitness. Interesting stuff.

Also joining us as honoured guests, were Anne and Keith Peek from the mills, taking a well earned rest from serving up beans on toast and spare, well at least until today when we all turned up there…!
