Tonight’s eleventh round of the Virtual Club 10 saw 7 deluded individual line up for yet another bimble round the Tempus Fugit Course at full gas. Well that was the plan before the starter tried to push everyone off!

Tonight saw the largest collection of “electricals” since the inception of the Virtual 10’s. Even our newest “victim”, Nick Cornwell, experienced ever so briefly, the Virtual Club 10 start line and very little else!
I think Eleanor Underhill persuaded Kevan to hold on to Lynsey Astles bike at the start. As the clock struck zero Lynsey went absolutely nowhere staying firmly stuck in her virtual turbo.

Steve Berg experienced 40 seconds worth of start line delays before finally setting off to put in a half decent time, probably fuelled by extra “angry watts” to finish third.
Dave Cole set off OK but within a short distance had a “biological” courtesy of Astra Zeneca recent addition to his body.

That left 4 others to carry on regardless!

Apart from that it went quite well.

Tonight’s results as follows:-

Overall
1st – Matthew Heath – 22:32
2nd – Pete Higson – 24:42
3rd – Steve Berg – 26:40 (includes about 40 seconds at the start line)
4th – Colin Latter – 26:41
5th – Eleanor Underhill – 27:35

Virtual Guardian Cup result
1st – Pete Higson
2nd – Eleanor Underhill
3rd – Colin Latter

Next week will be the final Virtual Club 10 before hopefully the proper Club 10’s can start.
