Hi Club secretaries and contacts (if you’re no longer your club contact, please advise me who to contact in future), first may I wish you, your families and all your club riders a Very Happy New Year, and good riding for the year ahead!
Now to business. This is to let you know that the Wild Wales Challenge will take place on Sunday 26 August, based as usual at Bala. It may seem like a long time away, but time flies, as we all know!
This year’s event is being organised by Harry Fowler from Merseyside and myself, Denis Holder, from St Helens & Warrington. We will be running the entries in thhe same way as the past few years, i.e. the clubs who have had a minimum of
4 riders in previous WWCs will be offered early entry before the event is opened up to all comers. Phase 1 entry (the clubs) will commence from early March-exact dates will be publicised later.
So for now,we would be grateful if you would spread the word around your club so that when entry opens, riders are ready to apply for places. Route details etc. will follow later, but we do have a cracking route for you!
