Kev & El competed it this gruelling event in the Lakes. I was planning to, but had a flat battery in my campervan which let me off the hook and saved me a thrashing from Kev. The event attracts athletes from all over the country and the standard is very high. A 6km trail run followed by a 24km mountain bike ride and then an even tougher, very hilly 6km run. This was Kev well up in the first run.

Both of them agreed that it is a very tough event and turned in very credible times, with Kev 4th Vet 50 in 2hr26min and El first Lady Vet! Well done both and hope to join you next time at Grizedale in March
