Good turnout of 10 for the last ride on 21 July and some new faces to the fat tyre gang – Titch, Andy A and Phil. We were also joined for his first club ride by Giles from Kingsley who did fantasticly well to go the distance despite jumping gears and not being used to riding with a group. It was a lovely day and although muddy and overgrown in places we had a good ride along the bridleways through Vale Royal, Whitegate Way, Little Budworth, Oulton woods, Cotebrook, Primrose wood and lunch at Summertrees. Afterwards we headed down Tirley Garth and back up the hill then over Old Pale to head back to Northwich.

All abilities welcome to hit the singletrack trails. I’m also thinking of an off road weekend to Betwys y Coed for the Bank Holiday 25 – 27 Aug. It’s a great centre for the Marin and Penmachno trails as well as some superb bridleways into Snowdonia. Let me know if interested – I’ll be camping at the main campsite but I’m sure B&Bs available in the village.
