Some tired legs after our exertions on the velodrome boards the night before, but 8 made it for a damp but very pleasant ride around the forest. 
By the time we got to the top of Old Pale the sun was shining. Steve M, Rob and Steve C, Geoff and Iain (from Scotland like Danny McCaskill – rides a bike a bit like him too) El and Phil had already headed for home, but we all enjoyed the challenging, slightly slippery conditions.
