Here we are again, time to think about next springs weekend away..
After this years ‘Monsoon’ rain, next years weekend is a month later .
It is on the 18th / 19th March 2017.
Many of this years attendees were not put off by the wind and rain and have signed up for the 2017 version.
A 95 mile ride out to Llanberis on Sat and 85 miles back on Sun, it’s the challenge to motivate you through the cold of the winter months.
The final price is to be confirmed due to the Van Hire Co and Cafe yet to confirm their prices, but it is likely to be between £75-£80.
For this you get a bag van carrying your clothing, a broom van that follows the main bunch of riders, this will have a basic spares and a comprehensive tool kit and access to a seasoned mechanic [no pressure Syd!] and will help get you back on track if you have a mechanical problem or are overcome by the distance. You will also get lunch in Ruthin on both days.
We’ll stay in the Royal Victoria Hotel set a the bottom of Pen-y-Pass just before you go into Llanberis village.
There are still a dozen places available with about 80% of this years attendees coming back for more..
