By popular request we’re off to this stunning area again, just 1.5 hour’s drive down the A49. This is the view from the top towards the Wrekin. You feel like you’re on top of the world up here. Fantastic singletrack, gravel bridleways and quiet lanes leading to country pubs for lunch.
Meet in the centre of Church Stretton GR453937 for 10am start. There are a number of public car parks but we’ll try to find a free one near the centre. Possible lunch stop at Marshbrook where there is a pub and bike shop – lots more info at http://www.mtb-shropshire.co.uk/ and details of some of the tracks and trails – but note that we are meeting at Church Stretton rather than Marshbrook.
Experienced riders only as it is tough going and technical in places. Bring waterproof, food, drink, headtorch & tail light (in case we get delayed) and spare clothing.
