I think I am going to get one (might help my navigation and stop me from getting lost) after having a chat with Titch today and just having a look on line, I am liking the sound of both the garmin 500 and the 800 edge. It looks like I would also need a separate mapping card as the mapping it comes with is only very basic.
I am hoping that it will also help me out with my workouts as the one I use at the moment is a running Garmin and I have to come home and down load it before I can see what I have done.
Any advice would be great 🙂
Today was fantastic I really really enjoyed it. Titch a very big thank you for all your advice today.
The very keen Les 😀
Getting lost in the lanes is one of my favourite past times. Once you get lost a few times you soon start recognising routes and lanes. I now use a Holux 260 and for its money its hard to beat.
i have a garmin 705,,,,thinking of selling if you want one
Haha yes I know what you mean Craig but its now getting frustrating and I hate getting to a junction and taking a guess of which way to go although it is good for the mileage when for me it is always the wrong way I choose 😆
Phil how much do you want for your Garmin?
Cheers for the offer Phil, I have just got a really good deal on a Garmin edge 800 enduro pack with discover 1.50k maps.
I will have no excuse to get lost anywhere from now on, ok except Sunday on the Ron Sant as I will not get it in time 😥 .
Cheers
Les 🙂
