The other run got equally wet, Ian did a great job of keeping us all together, went down past Beeston and Peckforton then on to Cholmondley, we were going to drop into Wrenbury before looping up to Nantwich, but decided we were all getting wet and cold so took the marginaly quicker route via Chorley and Larden Green.

I had popped the guards on my bike just that morning, but the level of rain negated any benefit they gave.

By the time we got to Waterside I was very cold and soaked, I did not stop at the cafe and pushed on to get home, Chris joined me and we set a cracking pace back through Wettenhall, cured the feeling cold but the rain soaked muscles paid the price.

Got a nice 52 in by the time I got back so considering the dreadful conditions pleased I got out.
