The large turnout this morning made it necessary for a third group to be out on the road. This allowed the inaugural run of the trike group of wvcc. Jed and I set a sedate pace to the ice cream farm by a direct route and enjoyed a ride in great conditions. We were slightly delayed on the outward journey by a front puncture to Jed's machine but otherwise the trip was uneventful. I would like to thank Jed for keeping me company and encouraging me up the lumpy bits on the way home and Dennis for the loan of the trike. It was great to feel like a cyclist again, ride to cafe , beans on toast and ride home. 😆
