Route back:
http://www.brytonsport.com/mapTrackView/3?id=1768439
29 miles ack to the club, 860ft of climbing.
Total round trip of 82 miles, 3000ft of climbing.
We should aim for an 18 average to make sure we get home before dark.
I will be leading off at 10 on the dot, so don't be late!
I'd recommend lights are needed on the long run. Better be safe after the last few weeks.
Leaving at 10 won't happen, neither will an average of 18mph. May want to plan a shorter loop out. There'sno room for mechanicals or other delays.
...and don't forget your mud guards and lights...
I can't guarantee the speed or reliability, but I'm going at 10 🙂
Had the weather been better, I'd be leaving at 8, on my own. It's been a really crappy week for weather, and I need the miles.
You can't leave at 10 that's the meet time. That leaves no time for people having a mech or puncture on the way.
It's a club run!!!
If everyone brings lights, well be fine I think.
10:05 then 🙂
And the contingency is that it is only 15 miles home if we get to the cafe late.
If 10 am has become the meeting time and not the leave time then my suggestion is that the clubrun should leave at 10 so meet before then . There are not enough daylight hours as it is.

I've only been a member for 3 years but the rides have never left at 0930 or 1000.
it is said that the meet is at 10.00 (9.30 summer months) and not that we will leave at 10.00 im all for being punctual and as mr sherwin said at the club dinner if you're not 5 minutes early you're late.
