Nothing serious El front wheel went from under me after a puncture along the river at Connahs Quay got patched up at the cafe
Just glad Jules is OK!
Pleased your ok too Alan 🙂
Get well soon Jules! I hope you and your bike are ok! Shocking that such a random event could occur - at least you weren't on your own at the time! It would have been worse if it wasn't on a club run, I guess...

Thanks everyone, especially those that looked after me at the scene. I cannot remember a thing about yesterday apart from part of the ambulance ride. They did x-rays and blood tests and everything was ok. But the loss of memory worried them, this is why I had a MRI scan. And they found a brain which is a bonus. No lasting damage and they sent me home with creams and tablets.
Have spent all day sleeping and I'm very sore and swollen. Got what can only be described as whip lash. God forbid what would have happened if I didn't wear a helmet. I think I'd be writing this from a wheel chair with a straw in my mouth!!
Thanks again and see you all soon
great to see you are up and at em again Jules, think you forgot to mention the brain they found was the size of a pea though 😉
Get some more rest and i will see you soon
