Karl,
Sorry to hear that you have joined the fractured pelvis group. I hope you haven't had to be plated back together as I was back in June. I have just been given the go ahead to "go for it" in terms of walking normally cycling and swimming. Perhaps we should have our own club run when you are allowed so we can rebuild together. Be a patient patient and try to keep smiling.

Derek

Hello guys, thanks for the thoughts...

I'm certailny not as bad as needing plates Derek, I think my fracture is minor compared to yours. Maybe we can compare X-Rays some time and the worst one buys a round 😛 Yours sounds really nasty 😡 . Hope you're making a good recovery...

Stitches out of finger and elbow on Thursday. Now walking without crutches, although that was never an option with fractured collar bone anyway 🙄 Feeling better each day, although very stiff in the morning 😆 (sorry, thought i'd give you a laugh after the cr..p weather today).

Hope to be back on home trainer soon and see how sore the ligaments etc are. I suspect quite stiff..

Attended Magistrates Court in London on Tuesday, for Trial for accident I had last year (3 months off after rotator cuff repair in January, was just getting fit again after it, before this one.. 👿 ) Guy who wiped me out in car last year was found guilty, 7 points on licence and £1000 in fines. Justice done. Maybe now his insurance will pay out 14 months after the event.. 🙄 I can start trying to sort this one out now. Guy in Tractor already guilty, so hopefully will be sorted quicker than the last one !!

Hope you all had a good day on the Turbo Trainers today, I can't believe anyone went out in that rain !!!

If you're out and about in a car, I'd keep well clear of me, appear to be a bit of an accident magnet !! 😛

Take care,

Karl

Am hoping for half decent weather too so I can take 3 wheels direct to the ice cream farm.

Is it your right or left pelvis derek? If we got a tandem, we could pedal one side each and sell the spare cranks ? 🙄

My left side is the worse for wear, so if it is your right we are in with a shout. Weather isn't looking great at the moment and at the dizzy speeds of 6mph I need dry and warmish.
