Thanks to Dave and John for sorting out the ride. It was great to see so many youngsters giving it a go. The route out to Dunham was gentle and the odd stop helped my Claire survive the way out. Cafe is now in the Garmin and could take reasonable numbers on a sunny day. Return along the Transpennine trail offered shelter from motorist but we did come across a not so considerate cyclist towing a kiddy trailer. Claire and I opted out at Stretton as I thought she was flagging. Well done to those who did the whole trip. I would be willing to help on another such ride
I think that the leisure cyclist with the kiddie trailer was a white van man on his day off....!!
