Long Run Prees (Hilly / Flat)
Short Run Riverside Cafe Chester (Flat)
Hi Al
Just looking at the plans for this weekend (albeit i am not out), i note the short run is going to Chester, not sure if you want to reconsider this as the Chester half marathon (I am in it, hence me not out) is on Sunday so could be a little busy.
Regards
Jim
Cheers Jim yep may avoid Chester then sure I'll find somewhere as good 😉
Holt or ice cream farm Al? 😉

Great blog Els (although the link doenst works as it takes you to a log in),I am sure Jims Cape was as good as Jamies 😉 . sorry i could be there today, but as you know i was taking part in the Chester Half Marathon, my first ever and indeed, first run past 10 miles, finished with an amazing time of 1 hr 38.00, 7 mins quicker than my target, i was running squares for the last 2 miles. Glad its over now as i can concentrate on the bike again. 😀

Nice one Jim and El!
Short run was a good run over to Holt. Posted up a blog too.
As always Woody, very entertaining blog, indeed, probably more so than the moment. 😀
Of course, grossly over exaggerated, trying too hard to be funny as always. You wouldn't expect anything less would you?!
Well I was nice and snuggly warm all the way home so was very happy tho I know not to get salty bacon next time 😯 😆
1:38:00 nice one Jim. I miss running but I don't miss the; knackered feet, bad lower back, very dodgy right hip, bleeding nipples (Oooooooch), flat feet, aching big toes and getting well and truly battered by old men, women, kids and the occasional sheep! 😆
It was lot cheaper in those days though.
2 great blogs there and great effort by jim on his half marathon.
I thought i recognised Nicola when she turned up at the legion this morning however couldn't think of where from so i did a little digging on the good old facebook. turns out i went to school with her (my memory must be bad as this was only 2 years ago).
Nicola asked me to thank everyone for an enjoyable ride which she felt welcome on and will surely be out with us on more sunday rides and may even pop along to the club 10's once exams and so on are over.
great ride see you all on wednesday. 😀

Not at all 😆
Great blog El, and a true [ not exagerated ! ] version of events, I turned off on the run back to Beeston, I cracked another 20 mile in and ended up with 82 on the clock..
