I am trying to put together a ride in remembrance of Alan for about Saturday 27th July to somewhere like the ice cream farm at Tattenhall.
Meet at 10 o'clock at Hartford Social Club.
Alan's mum, dad and sister would like to meet us there.
There are not many of us left that would remember Alan but he was a staunch club ride and introduce me to cycling.
The ride is open to everyone, but will be especiallt pertient to those who new and rode with Alan.
If you don't want to ride out it would be still nice to see everyone at the cafe.
Alans family are donating a trophy in Alan name which is going to for Club Person of the Year and hopefully they will present it at the club dinner.
