To make room in the shed for a swanky new hybrid, this reliable and sturdy MTB is for sale.

Recently it's had a new cassette, chain, middle chainring, freehub and rear gear cable. Everything is in tip top mechanical order, oh except the forks, but they have always been rubbish. The spring in them appears to be spec'd for a 17 stone rugby player, but they are budget forks so this is pretty much the norm. It's a Small, which measures up as 15" centre to top, but on MTB's it's the top tube length that's more important, so this fits a 5'3" to 5'7" ish woman, I'd like you to try it before you buy though so you can be sure it's right. The tyres on it are narrow (for an MTB) fast rolling summer tyres that work well on the road, about 3/4 worn. 24 Shimano Acera gears, V brakes and a nice Specialized womens saddle tops off the spec. It has all the usual patina of a used mountain bike. Mudguards included and there's clips and straps that will fit it in the shed if you want them.

Please post any questions up here, I'll keep an eye out for them, or ring me on ************ This is also the number if you want to come and look at it or have a test ride. Cheers.
