Hello folks,
One of the many things that Dave Astles did so well was to submit regular reports to the Guardian, about all the club's racing and other activities. Now that he sadly isn't here to do this work any more, I've agreed to act as press sec. until the AGM, when someone else might want to take it on. So - the message is - please can you send me reports etc., by Sunday night (say 7 p.m.) at the latest. Please don't rely on the forum, but e mail me instead on underhills@btinternet.com - and please can you send me a quick text or phone me on 07824 597137 to alert me to the e mail, otherwise I might miss it.
Please please don't be shy - it's a really good way to promote the club, and to illustrate the wide range of cycling events that we enter, and activities that we promote.

Great to hear that you have taken this on as I think you will do a good job. I will continue to post TT reports on the forum when I can and I'll get a cut down version to you for the Guardian, as they usually edit the reports to the bone anyhow.
