It's that time of year again folks, where we have to dig into our pockets to stump up the necessary and continue to enjoy being part of WVCC!
As it's the AGM next week, this is also the ideal time to pop along, join in the meeting, and at the same time, pass on your hard earned cash to our Membership Secretary!
For those new to the club - the same applies, if you now wish to join after sampling club runs, TTs etc, now is the best time. Get a full year from your subscription. Again, just pop along the AGM, or alternatively, geta membership application form from the web site at: https://www.weavervalleycc.org.uk/club-info/membership/ fill it in, and send yer money!
For those racing/time-trialling - remember: you must be a paid-up club member to compete in open events as a club member.
Membership is a bargain:
Senior (18 and over) £15
Junior (16 & 17) £5
Juveniles (12-15) £4
Senior citizens £5
Family membership £25

In these modern days of internet banking, why do WVCC still do everything from club subs to clothing with cheques? Is it possible to pay by bank transfer? It would be far easier 🙄

Not at the moment Jim. We will inevitably be looking at easier and more modern payment methods as we go along. I wouldn't get too hung up about it, as the cycling world is generally a few years behind! The CTT (for open time trials) being a case in point, that have only introduced on-line event entry this year! Same last year with British Cycling!
Incidentally, WVCC were one of the first to register on the CTT web site to accept on-line entries for our hill climb this year.
A good point for you to raise at the AGM though Jim!
WVCC need an iphone app. Get on it Ady!
bluddy god idea kris, however would it not mean that everyone who does not have an iphone/ android or app capable phone would have to upgrade? and would it have to communicate with a central device to be able to relay information, im sure ady will know all this? we could be the first club to have our own app, that would be pretty futuristic 😛
This is Ady's problem now. I'm just the visionary, I have people to realise the potential.

Is it really beyond the realms of possibility for you to share the bank account number and sort code or must i spend 2 days digging out my cheque book from 1986 and sending it snail mail 🙄 , chances are you may get it by next September ❗
