Sorry for the late report, life has been getting in the way! Contrary to rumours starting from a wind-up last week, this TT did not count for the Guardian Cup, for those who rode it solo. It did however produce some interesting results, particularly from the 3-up of Hunt / Hassall & Langridge who produced a very impressive 20:51. Several Olympic rowers have moved over to cycling and become World Class and based on recent results both in TT’s and road races, Mr Langridge certainly has the potential to go places in our sport. Or am I just sticking my oar in where it is not wanted! 🙂
Technically as the only 2-up team in the race Craig Lee and Nick Butterworth were the winners. See you again on when the Guardian Cup resumes.
