Another great night for the “so called” 2-up. “So called” because only 2 pairs rode and 15 solos which begs the question should we drop the event and just have a solo race in future. Fastest pair were Ged lacey and his partner (only for racing I hasten to add!), Alex Chaffey Green with a 26:38. 2nd pair were novice Darcy Wooley on her very impressive looking Specialized racing bike and her dad Andy who rode it as a GP de Gentleman as he clearly couldn’t get past her. Their 40:04 was the ride of the night so watch out for Darcy in the Olympics a few years from now.
A few solo PB’s tonight as well with Paul Connor improving very week with is 23:38. Quickest ride of the night went to visitor Steve Downey with a rapid 22:45.
