Thanks chaps we’re short of marshals so if you’re able to help pls. e mail Garry Brown on garry.brown@chasetempleton.co.uk – he’s co-ordinating marshals. WE also need a first aider – any offers please?
Blimey Carl that sounds horrendous – and you were doing so well! That all sounds very painful but you don’t seem to have lost your sense of humour. How long were you in hospital for? Anyway all the best for a speedy recovery from Kevan and me, we’re thinking of you.
Hi Dave sounds good, Kev and I hope to be there if it’s still on…
If you’re interested, blog report and pic on http://wvcccycleblog-runs.blogspot.com/2010/08/loggerheads-way-club-runs-should-be.html
Really enjoyed it – wins the “best club run so far this year” in my book!I’ve put a post up on the cycleblog, http://wvcccycleblog-runs.blogspot.com/2010/08/alans-guide-dog-ride.html if you want to read it – pics aren’t great though.
Hi Alan Kev and I intend to come..
Terry which day is this ride?
Derek all the very best from Kevan and me too. We were appalled to hear what happened – there seem to be some idiots out there. We wish you all the very best and just wanted you to know we’re thinking of you. I just wish the England team were doing a bit better so you at least had some decent football to watch!
Great effort, well done Andrew and James: two messages for James 1. when you’re racing for the Sky team in 10 years’ time pls. remember us all and 2. when you’re racing for the Sky team in 10 years’ time just bear in mind that they won’t let you eat chocolate cake!
Very well done, Eleanor and Kevan.Story and pics uploaded on http://wvcccycleblog-runs.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html, thanks Claire! Good to see the girls out in force, Claire you need to sell them some club kit though!
Well done allClaire if you or anyone want to get photos up onto the blog you can e mail them to me at the.underhills@tesco.net and I’ll upload them
EleanorThanks Terry for a great race – and everyone who helped in so many ways – it was such good fun – I’m still buzzing! I don’t think I’ve ever ridden so fast for so long- the pace was relentless, there just wasn’t any let up at all. Ironically I was expecting the hill to be the hard bit and actually the girls all took that bit fairly steady – but then they hammered it over the top. It was brilliant to see friendly WVCC faces at every corner. If you’re interested I’ve written my own report – a sort of tail ender’s view I suppose – on the cycleblog
