Hi All,

Below are links to all the results for the Club 10s in 2011.

Congratulations to Derek on winning the Guardian Cup with 119 points, one point ahead of Chris Buckley (118) and John Moulds in third with 103 points.

2011 has seen the most rides we’ve had since I started organising the events with 289 rides averaging 22.23 riders per event.

I would like to send a big thank you to Ann & Graham Gregory who have assisted me yet again in running the events this year.

So after 15 years or so of running the club 10s, I am handing over the reigns in 2012 to Dennis Hornby. I wish Dennis every success and you never know I might even ride one or two.

Congrats to Derek on the win, if anything his last club 10 was a champions ride knocking a minute off his PB!

Just want to say thanks to Steve, Graham and Ann, really enjoyed (although I’m not sure enjoyed is the right word!) my first year doing Club 10s and…well completing my first ever Time Trial too. Looking forward to next year!

Cheers Steve, Anne & Graham. Great to see your efforts rewarded with such a consistently good turnout. A few more people have been riding open events this Year thanks to the club 10 experience. Maybe next Year we can get even more around the Chelford circuit and start challenging for the local team awards.

Also an amazing Year for Derek. After the Year you had in 2010, it’s remarkable what you’ve achieved this year both in the club 10’s and in your Audax rides. Your determination has been an inspiration to us all and we really don’t have any excuses now when a slight sniffle puts us off going out on the bike.

I’d like to echo the sentiments above. Thanks Steve, Graham and Anne for a great series of 10s. The first 10s ridden in 25 or so years for me.

Nowehere else, can you put yourself through such pain and suffering for £1.50 an event. An absolute bargain. 😉

I’d also like to thank all our club 10 organisers for all their help and encouragement this year. It’s also been great to see all the WV members at the various open TT events.

Have really “enjoyed” my first 10’s after being cajoled into taking part. thanks Steve, Ann and Graham, and everyone else for the encouragement and not whistling when you blew past me 😀 will be back next year without doubt!

Well done Derek and thanks to Steve, Ann and Graham for putting them all on. Personally, must do better next year! That is in times. Position wise I’m bound to slip down with all these up and comming youngsters, which is great to see. An average of over 20 riders is brilliant too.
