This will be the second of 2 sessions and will be run provided there is sufficient interest .

Starting at 7pm prompt and lasting up to 2 hours, Steph will cover First Aid for potential cycling related injuries and the basics of CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) bringing along two manikins for you to all have a go.

An ideal number per session is 12 people and hopefully we can achieve that number again . I think everybody attending the previous session found it interesting , informative and helpful .

There will be no charge for the evening, but if you enjoy the course and feel it was of some benefit to you then a small donation will be gratefully accepted by Steph.

All proceeds are going towards the funding of a charity trip to The Gambia this April with Girl Guiding UK where Steph will be part of a team teaching First Aid and hygiene etc to the local villagers.

Fundraising for this project alone (and she does many others) includes film evenings, making cup cakes, making and selling fleece hats, charity market stalls, raffles, tombola's, quiz evenings, sponsored cycle ride, sponsored 24hr dance-a-thon, First Aid courses, drop in CPR sessions, to name but a few. She has also made a number very small fleece hats to be given to premature newborn babies in The Gambia to prevent hypothermia at night.

There is still some way to go with her fundraising, so hoping some of our club members will attend, learn and enjoy the evening and give generously :-).

Steph has suggested you arrive 10 minutes before the start, I think you may be able to buy yourself a drink and then get a decent seat ready for a prompt start at 7pm for a nice informal session.

Places will booked on a first come basis, so please contact me to reserve a place or if you require any more info. alankemp8@tiscali.co.uk

KEY POINTS
WHAT – 1st Aid session
WHEN - Thurs 26th March
WHERE - Winnington Park RC
TIME – 7PM - 9PM (2 hours approx)
COST - Nil (donations please)

Thanks
Alan
User avatar
alank

Location: Northwich
