Great turn out for the club champs plus the added interest of Guardian Cup points due to the cancellation of the previous week’s race due to the World Cup.
Jim Duffy came out of temporary retirement to post a cracking time of 22:39, less than 30 seconds behind his PB for this course. Another rare club TT rider but regular open TT fast man Alistair took a well deserved second place with 23:30. Paul Connor deserved his bronze medal after his rapid progress this season. First ever 10 championship medal but I’m sure not his last.
