Thanks to Rob Petit for these pictures he took at Llandegla. As you can see it was pretty wintery, but mainly ridable. Matthew, me (what do you mean by old school?), new recruit Daren and Gareth.
Next off-road ride is Delamere Sat 15 Nov. Meet at the station cafe at 10am. All abilities welcome as we’ll probably have 2 groups to include some younger riders.

Delamere on 15 Nov saw 11 set out through the mud! The faint hearted (sensible) ones soon found firmer surfaces to ride on, but there was no holding back the remaining 7 including new recruits:- Andy, Anthony, Mike and “future star” James who showed amazing stamina, brilliant bike handling and awesome “bouncebackability” for an under 12 – must have been the cyclo cross last week which toughened him up.
After an hour on the familiar Delamere trails we had a great ride over to Primrose Hill where it wasn’t quite as muddy – or was it just that we didn’t care by then!
I’ll be posting details of the Long Mynd ride on 6 Dec soon so we can arrange lifts, meeting places etc.
