Sunday club ride – Down Hill Freewheel Competition, then cafe.

The first competition of the year that isn’t a competition(!)

Basically, turn up for the club run as per usual, then we’ll cycle out to a hill, where each rider will tie his crank to his chainstay  or drop the chain from the chainwheel (to stop him/her pedalling), and will freewheel down the hill.

The rider who gets the furthest (i.e. Jimmy Williams) will win the coveted award, and be remembered forever in history!
