Reading Time: 2 minutes

As a welcome change from all the wind and rain, Nick booked a track session for the 13th.

Where better to train on a winter's night?

A good number gathered, and spent an excellent couple of hours under the expert tuition of Paul West, who controlled proceedings, made sure we behaved, and gave us some excellent training and track experience.

We were split into two groups, with time dished out equally between those who had ridden track before and those who hadn’t.

An excellent evening, concluding (for those who wished to ride) with a knackering 40 lap scratch race, which saw the pace ramp up very quickly in the first 15 laps, and then just get quicker!!

Jim takes to the track for the first time!

Only James Risk and Matt Nowell were left at the end, with James just edging ahead. Elliot was still showing his form well on the track, with the only complaint that when you were behind him, you got no shelter!!

Young Mr Risk eyes up the targets for an attack..

..before pulling out a lead from everyone but Matt!

A brilliant night. Thanks to Nick for organising, and Paul for dishing out the pain. ๐Ÿ™‚
