Start

On the B5081 (Byley Road) at the 1st field gate after Kings Lane, and in line with the left hand field gate post. Approx ½ mile West of the B5082 (Three Greyhounds Public House). Proceed West along the B5081 to:-

Byley Cross Roads             Where left along Moss Lane/ Byley Lane to:-

Cranage                                 Where left [with extreme care] along the A50 to:-

Woodside (Northwich Rd /Pennys Lane)   Left along the B5082 to join the A556 at:-

Rudheath                                 Left along the A556 to join the A530 at:-

King Street Island                Left along the A530/B5309 to the Traffic Lights at the junction with:-

Centurion Way(Middlewich) Traffic Lights     Filter left along Centurion Way via a Traffic Island to:-

Byley Road Corner (Kinderton)        12.260 m Left along the B5081 to:-

Allostock (Three Greyhounds Public House) Left along the B5082 (Pennys Lane) to  start 2nd lap.  to:-

Rudheath                              Left along the A556 to:-

King Street Island              Left along the A530/B5309 to the Traffic Lights at the junction with:-

Centurion Way (Middlewich)   Filter Left along Centurion Way via a Traffic Island to:-

Byley Road Corner (Kinderton)                 Left along the B5081 to:-

Finish    On the B5081 on the opposite side of the road from a concrete manhole                                                                                                                  cover in the verge approx. 5yds beyond start lay-by.

 

All major changes of direction will be marshalled and there will also be direction arrows out..

So come on down and give it a go..

heading to delamere on the cyclocross bike in the morning if anyone want to join me . the route is along the river weaver to the whitgate way , then into delamere . only 1/2 mile is on the road. going to leave about 11 as the forecast shows the snow easing off then . normally do 30-40 miles . ... ’Expand’’Hide’
