A blustery night for once with rain threatening but fortunately never came. Cheshire East decided to dig up some more roads so we reverted to the old Lach Dennis/ Barkers Lane 2 lapper. We had 6 visitors and the winner overall was Dave Jones (unattached) who was once a quick rider and hasn’t lost too much of the old pace with a comeback time of 23:49.
Quickest WVCC rider was Emily who yet again beat her PB on a windy slower course than usual. Get entering more open events Emily because these times are seriously good. To qualify for the Manchester Ladies BAR you need a local 25 and a local 50 but your local 10 needs to be one of the M&DLCA open 10’s and there is only one left so get your entry in before it closes next Tuesday.
Ade will publish the tables for the Guardian Cup and the Scratch competitions very shortly as we are now 5 rides into the series. No event next week due to the Warrington RC 4-up so see you the week after.
