Never usually one to be swayed by popular opinion I am breaking the habit of a life time and postponing the club 10 this week despite the fact that it was to be the club championship race. It is clear from the many posts on Faceache that very few if anybody will turn up if we go ahead and this is not fair on the helpers. Apparently watching a load of overpaid Prima-Donnas kicking a bag of wind around a field is of more interest but my views on this subject don’t really matter:-)
I for one wish “our lads” every success as the more matches they take part in, the more rides I can get in, on empty roads. The training may do me good for the revised club 10 championship that will take place on Wednesday 18th July in conjunction with the Guardian Cup and Scratch trophy counter event.
