Members were clearly put off by the rain that started early evening on Wednesday as only 7 riders took part. Shame as it stopped raining for the event so everybody who did ride got away with it. Incidentally skin is waterproof (says he who also didn’t ride)!
Roadworks on the A50 forced a change to the 2 lapper and as a result most times were slower than usual due to all the junctions. Mark Astles was quickest by a big margin with a 24:29, Darren Johnson 2nd with 26:06. Colin Carthy took 25 points for quickest WVCC rider on the night with 26:52.
