You can ride your bike with no handlebars.
You can do bunny hops that leap four feet in the sky.
You can sail down a steep flight of concrete steps
Or just jump over them instead.
You can balance precariously on metal spikes
And never get impaled or skewered.
You can do wheelies that last forever,
Then disappear over the street furniture.
I can do none of those things.
My feet are firmly planted on the clodded earth.
But I have you to enthral me,
And you can ride your bike with no handlebars.
