ROAD RIDING/RACING
The club hosts a number of road racing and
time trialling events each year.
There are road races taking place
almost every weekend with members of the club competing. The quickest way to
find out what's on offer is to contact the Road Race secretary who will be able
to point you in the right direction. Most active racing members of the club take
part in local TLI (The League International) races, many of which take place in
the safe car-less haven of Oulton Park. These events are ideal for first time
competitors wanting to have a go.
We also have a number of club
time trial events running throughout the year. Your point of contact here is
Steve Thomas, who acts as the Clubs time trial secretary. Once again, see the
Contact us page.
Our weekly 'club runs' cater for all
types of rider, the racer and the non-competitive leisure rider alike. See the
link to the right.
Please take a look at the various sections
of the site for details of these events and rides. Additional road riding /
competing information will appear on this page of the site.
At the bottom of this page there
is a document detailing various cycling friendly Cafe Stops in and around the
Cheshire area that Martin Whyard has kindly provided.
I'd also welcome details of various cafe
stops, routes and training ideas on this page. Please submit any input to me at
